Transfer

Turning a real property asset or site over to another office within the Department for reuse or to support the transition from one disposition phase to another.

Onsite transportation activity, which includes the package and transporter, that occurs within a DOE site or facility.

Any onsite transportation of materials, other than intrabuilding movements, involving activities such as packaging, loading, securing, marking, labeling, placarding, cargo security, and documentation as appropriate in addition to the actual transportation of the material by any transport vehicle.
