Requirements for Safety Analysis Determination

Safety analyses must include the identification of hazards, assessment of risks, and methods for risk elimination or control. The line organization is responsible for preparing the safety analyses, obtaining an independent review of each analysis, and authorizing the construction operation and subsequent significant modification.
