Lessons Learned

Formal or informal set of "learning" collected from project or program experience that can be applied to future projects or programs after a risk evaluation. Lessons learned can be gathered at any point during the life of the project or program.

A "good work practice" or innovative approach that is presented as an example to promote repeat application. It may also be an adverse work practice or experience that is presented as an example to avoid recurrence.
