Knowledge Based Authentication

A method of authentication based on knowledge of personal information associated with the asserted identity. This may involve the use of information sent to the individual in advance as part of the access control process or use answers to questions generated from a wider base of personal information (e.g., previous addresses) to which the agency has access.
