Environmental Surveillance

The collection and analysis of samples of air, water, soil, foodstuffs, biota, and other media at the DOE site and surrounding environs and the measurement of external radiation to demonstrate compliance with applicable standards, assess radiation exposure of members of the public, and assess effects, if any, on the environment.
