Document(s)
Recorded information that describes, specifies, reports, certifies, requires, or provides data or results. A document is not considered a record until it is a completed document that provides objective evidence of an item, service, or process.
Written, printed information; charts; maps; paintings; drawings; engravings; sketches; photographic prints; exposed or developed film; working notes and papers; reproductions by any means or process (i.e., documents in electronic format); and sound and video recordings by magnetic, optical, or any other electronic means.
Any written or pictorial information describing, defining, specifying, reporting, or certifying activities, requirements, procedures, or results. A document is not considered to be a quality assurance record until it satisfies the definition of a quality assurance record.
Any recorded information, regardless of the nature of the medium or the method or circumstances of recording (e.g., email).
