Accident Investigation Board Chairperson

The DOE Official designated by the Appointing Official and has been given the authority to: conduct the lead accident investigation; manage the activities of the Board; obtain external or internal DOE Federal and contractor resources required; control the accident scene; collect evidence; analyze evidence; and issue a formal report of the Board's conclusions and Judgments of Needs to the Appointing Official.
