New: DOE O 544.1A, Priorities and Allocations Program

Establishes coordinated responsibilities for the administration of the Department of Energy (DOE) Priorities and Allocations Program (Program) as authorized through Title I of the Defense Production Act of 1950 (DPA), as amended. Maintains for both non-emergency and emergency conditions a Program that will: (1) Promote the national defense with respect to energy production and construction, distribution and use, and directly related activities; (2) Maximize domestic energy supplies; and (3) Make appropriate Program Determinations and carry out DOE’s Rating Authority in furtherance of promoting national defense and maximizing domestic energy supplies.
