New: DOE O 474.2A Chg 1 (AdminChg), Nuclear Material Control and Accountability
This Order establishes requirements for developing, implementing, and maintaining a nuclear material control and accountability (MC&A) program within the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), including the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), and for DOE-owned materials at other facilities that are exempt from licensing by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). This Order only addresses the safeguards and security of accountable nuclear materials. Supersedes DOE O 474.2A, dated 2-7-2023.
