Credited Engineered Control


A mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, or physical system credited in the ASE used to implement one or more safety functions at an accelerator. A credited engineered control is often composed of any combination of sensors, and/or logic solvers, and/or final elements; or it may be a physical system, such as barriers, back-flow preventers, or containments.
