DOE O 520.1B, Financial Management and Chief Financial Officer Responsibilities
Establishes policies and responsibilities for Department of Energy (DOE) financial and accounting management officials in accordance with the Chief Financial Officer Act of 1990 (the CFO Act, Public Law (Pub. L.) 101-576) and other requirements. DOE is one of 24 statutorily designated CFO Act agencies and establishes internal controls and financial management oversight requirements based on the Federal Managers’ Financial Integrity Act of 1982 (Pub. L. 97-255), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policy, and internal control standards. Supersedes DOE O 520.1A, dated 11-21-06.
