This Notice implements the requirements of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) related to the secure and reliable identification of Department of Energy Federal and contractor employees. In particular this Notice concerns the objective of HSPD-12 that requires such identification to be issued based upon sound criteria for verifying an individual's identity. DOE N 251.67 extends this directive until 3-22-07. Cancels DOE N 206.2. Canceled by DOE N 206.4.
