The Directives Program advocates full participation from all DOE organizations in the development of directives. It is essential that each organization provides a Directives Point of Contact (DPC). They are the central voice for expressing their organization's concerns in the Directives Program. Prior to publication, each directive is allowed a review and comment period.

Policies, Orders, Notices, Manuals and Guides are reviewed through the Directives Program using the tool RevCom for comments. RevCom is DOE's online coordination system for federal and contractor employees to review and comment on draft directives.
